Everybody must be known about a game called Among Us. Although the trend is about to dead (sorry I'm late), because another new games such as Cyberpunk 2077 just been released, Among Us is considered as one of the best game in 2020. This game got the trend because of its interesting gameplay, can be played on any device, and its lightweight size. Even because of this game, there are many new jargon and memes, such as "where (the dead body)?", "red sus", "impostor of the vent", "emergency meeting", "xxxxx was not an impostor", and many more.

According to Innersloth, the developer of the game, Among Us is as a "multiplayer game of teamwork and betrayal". There are two team, the crewmates and the impostor(s). Crewmates do all tasks in the map and kick off the impostor. Impostors fake crewmates's tasks, sabotage certain places in the map, and kill crewmates. They are called "impostors" because they disguise as crewmates and fake they tasks so crewmates won't consider them. When a crewmate reports a dead body or press the "emergency meeting" button, a chat window will open. All players (crewmates and impostor(s)) can discuss who is the impostor. Players can vote or kick another player that considered suspicious (or "sus"). The crewmates win if there is no impostor left in the map (the impostor get kicked off or exits the game) or all tasks are completed. The impostor team wins is all crewmates are killed.

This game is not just a game. It teaches us a life lesson. In our life, we meet a lot of people. Not all of them are good people. There can be "impostors" or fake friends. They can be nice to us, but they can betrayed us if we are weak. 

Even my favorite anime (Digimon Universe: App Monsters, or Appmon for short) have the life lesson just like Among Us. In that anime, the protagonist (Haru Shinkai) had a best friend named Yuujin Ozora. They were a good friends. But in the end of the series, Yuujin betrayed Haru, and it's revealed that Yuujin is a Leviathan's army, the main antagonist. (I watched the whole series NGL, there are 52 episodes)

Pick a lesson from Among Us and Appmon. Fake friends are real, they can hurt you. So beware. They are. AMONG US.
